Products

Friction material is the deciding factor in clutches and brakes. It is responsible
for both performance and safety. We develop and produce technically complete
and proven solutions. Our goal is to gain better performance within the size
constraints of ever-smaller units. We offer our customers a variety of tailor made
solutions containing friction materials for wet or dry applications, as well as the
corresponding steel mating plates and lubricants. We also supply these in packs
to specific stack height tolerances and can assemble them into complete end units.
Our innovative materials and processes enhance the coefficient of friction and wear
characteristics to provide the optimal product for specific applications

Solutions

We understand the influences between the friction material, steel mating plate and
lubricant. An expanding product line of paper, sinter and carbon discs offers the
ideal solution for every application especially those with high energy requirements.
Our in-house steel core manufacturing provides various types of production processes
and treatments and our tool shop has the flexibility to quickly build complex tools.

Research & Development

As a technology leader and an original equipment supplier, we constantly strive for
new, better and unique products. We have R&D facilities in both Europe and the USA.
There are laboratories for metallic and non-metallic friction materials, and
dynamometers for wet and dry applications that are programmable to simulate our
customers' operating conditions. Basic research is done in close cooperation with
international R&D institutes and universities. We collaborate with our customers in
developing and testing their products.
